Ashland has launched Aroset PS 6449, an acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) that delivers optical clarity to electronics applications. Aroset PS 6449 adhesive is acid free and thus reduces the likelihood of future corrosion. The product also demonstrates a balance of adhesion and cohesion, as well as temperature resistance.

Aroset PS 6449 adhesive can be used in bonding multiple layers together in electronics applications, where optical clarity, durability and weatherability performance are required. 

During the recent PSTC Tape Summit conference, the company also featured its Aroset 1295 and Aroset 2570 pressure sensitive adhesives. Aroset 2570 is an emulsion acrylic PSA for applications, such as masking, graphics and resealable packaging, that require removable adhesives.
